Brings the ruckus

Sasha Dza is a pioneer electronic music producer from Vladivostok, Russia. His early experiments included instrumental hip-hop, ambient and beats music. Since 2013, Sasha is a part of the most popular Russian rock-pop band Mumiy Troll, with whom he played on opening ceremony of XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.

Dza has also been recognised by Pitchfork for his contribution to Moscow electronic music. After being selected to participate in the 2010 Red Bull Music Academy in London, he signed record deals with Error Broadcast and the Bristol-based label Black Acre. Sasha’s talent has propelled his career forward quickly.

In 2018 he moved to Tokyo, to work as media director of synth company Black Corporation, authors of legendary Deckard’s Dreams analog synthesiser. He also starts audio-visual project Nana The Shrimp, with Russian animators Anna Cattish and Stas Bashkatov, whom worked with Disney and Pixar.

Now he working on a new sounds and collaborates with artists such as The Proxy, Mujuice, Mykki Blanco, Crazy Astronaut and brands, such as Dior, Nike, John Varvatos, Yves Saint Laurent, Gosha Rubchinskiy and many more.

Since 2011 he uses Playstation 2 controller and custom app made by Herrmutt Lobby for playing his shows.
